At Large" is Harvey Funkwalker's debut album, featuring a curated collection of the best of the instrumental trio's live moments recorded, with scuffs and all, in and around Athens, GA, USA in 2018. Reckless, brazen and unapologetic, their high energy performances blur the lines between tight, sinewy compositions and assiduous, immodest improvisation.

The album sports something of a storyline throughout and between their whirlwind jams. For those in the know, Harvey Funkwalker is anthropomorphisized by a sort of "mystery man", a shadowy figure on the loose that everyone seems to know about, but nobody is able to identify or locate. "Who is Harvey Funkwalker?" The enigmatic so-and-so seems to show up in the purest of moments only to escape our grasp, yet again. Those that go deeper might easily draw metaphor with their own inner Sisyphian struggle. At Large follows the chase of one man, on one night, who has caught wind that Harvey, the sneaky bugger, is in this venue, and if he is, he won't let him get away this time. This time.....

Featuring Johan Harvey (guitar, didjeridoo), Greg Surratt (bass), Adam Funk (drums), and a guest appearance by Athenian vocal powerhouse Ben Stevens, At Large tips a hat to progressive rock, jazz-funk fusion and earthy jamband vibes. File far away from "easy listening".
